About 2 million active online sellers are selling on Amazon.com and/or Walmart.com. 80% are upset and looking for alternatives.
In a recent survey of professional sellers*, these are some of the findings:
•9 out of 10 sellers reported gross profits of 5% or less
•3 out of 10 reported months with losses
•7 out of 10 would prefer to communicate and deal with returns directly with the buyer
•6 out of 10 prefer not to use the marketplaces’ distribution and logistical hubs citing costs and dead inventory
